Example 3-1-1 site.

In an effort to better serve their residents, many cities around the county have implemented a local 3-1-1 service. Most of these services have two parts, a local phone number where residents can reach an operator who can help them obtain city services, and an on-line facility where residents can request services and check on the status of previous requests.

This is an EXAMPLE of how such an on-line service could work in White Plains.

For a new request, first select the type of city service needed from the drop-down box below and hit the "Request" button. You will then be taken to a second screen where you can enter the rest of the information appropriate to that kind of request.

To check on the status of an existing request enter the "SR" number or some identifying text in the search box below and hit the "Search" button. Any matching entries will be displayed.

This is only an EXAMPLE system, and your requests will not be sent to any city departments.

For real emergencies, dial 911. The White Plains Police Department may be reached at (914) 422-6111.
The Mayor's Office may be reached at (914) 422-1411.
